Adjustment.

So we are mostly (85%) moved into our new home, and have met both some of Archer's coworkers and quite a few of our new neighbors. The girls are especially excited to meet and play with all the kids on our little cul-de-sac, and the weather has been lovely this weekend for enjoying our big new yard and both sets of grandparents here to play with!

But still we are feeling some of the emotional strain of the instability of the last month or so. It exhibits itself in feelings of weariness, periodic meltdowns, and an increased need for snuggles and one-on-one play-time.

Then tonight, as Geeda and Ritter started to leave for their hotel:

Clara says urgently, "Don't leave me, Mom! Don't leave me, Mom!"

"Clara, Mama is not leaving you again. Me and Daddy and you and sissies are staying here forever and I am not leaving you again. This is our new home!"

"Ah. (Contented sigh.) Thanks, Mom. Thanks, Mom. I not crying now!"

Maybe not, baby, but now Mama needs to go cry for you.
